The Neles™ Wafer-Design Knife Gate Valve is engineered for bi-directional sealing, making it suitable for various process applications. Its stainless steel gate and removable rubber sleeves ensure robust construction, high flow capacity, and tight shutoff, delivering optimal performance in industries such as pulp and paper, particularly for liquids containing up to 4% suspended solids. The valve features a one-piece machined cast body with wedges on both sides, allowing it to handle fluids in both directions at equal pressure. For enhanced durability and reliability, the sealing joint is reinforced with a stainless steel wire, ensuring the inside of the body remains clean while preventing the joint from loosening. Its flat seat design eliminates internal cavities, preventing the buildup of solids in the seat area and ensuring consistent performance over time.
